Window replacement in Pleasant Grove, Utah

Pleasant Grove holds pioneer-era homes, mid-century ranches, and 2000s subdivisions inside the same city limits. Each one needs a different answer.

The full range, inside one city

Pleasant Grove is one of the older settlements in Utah Valley, and its housing runs the whole span. Near the downtown grid there are homes going back to the pioneer era and the early 1900s, most retrofitted at least once. Then a wide band of postwar and mid-century ranch homes through the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Then the subdivisions that filled the east bench and the Manila area from the 1990s into the 2000s.

The oldest homes are the ones where we most often say slow down. Original wood sash on a historic house can be worth restoring, and a careless replacement can cost a house its character and its resale appeal at the same time. If that is your situation we will tell you what we would do, including when what we would do is nothing.

Mid-century ranch homes are usually the opposite case. Their original single-pane aluminum units are the single largest comfort and energy upgrade available in the house, and they are straightforward to replace.

Bench and Manila subdivisions are on the same 2000s builder-vinyl clock as the rest of the north county, which means seal failures arriving now and over the next several years.

We cover all of Pleasant Grove: the historic downtown grid, the neighborhoods below Battle Creek and Grove Creek canyons, the Manila area, the east bench, and the streets along the Murdock Canal Trail.

Two canyon mouths, and exposure that changes by the street

Pleasant Grove sits below two canyon mouths, Battle Creek and Grove Creek, and both funnel air straight down into east-side neighborhoods. Homes there get more wind hours per winter than homes a mile west, and the seals are where it shows up first.

If you live on the east side and a friend a few blocks downhill swears their windows are fine, you are not imagining the difference. Exposure is local, sometimes down to the street.

Pleasant Grove is about fifteen minutes from us.

About the other Lone Peak Windows

There was an unrelated business in Pleasant Grove that also used the name Lone Peak Windows. It held Utah contractor license 5257092-5501. That license is cancelled and that business is closed. It has no connection to us, and we have no way to help with warranty or service on work it performed.

We are a separate company, based in Lehi, working only in northern Utah County: Highland, Alpine, Lehi, American Fork, Cedar Hills, and Pleasant Grove. Our number is 385.208.9653. We are noting this here because the old listing still turns up in search results, and homeowners in Pleasant Grove reasonably get the two confused. A few other Utah businesses use similar names too, so the Lehi base and those six cities are the way to tell us apart.

Real rebates. No tax-credit stories.

The federal window tax credit expired December 31, 2025. It is not available for windows installed in 2026. If a quote you are looking at includes a federal tax credit, the number at the bottom of that quote is wrong. What is actually on the table for Pleasant Grove homeowners in 2026:

Up to $50 per window from Rocky Mountain Power's Wattsmart Home program, plus $2.50 per square foot from Enbridge Gas ThermWise on gas-heated homes.

See the full conditions for both programs, including the U-Factor threshold and what has to be on the paperwork.

Figures reflect published utility program terms as of October 2026. Rebate approval is made by the utility.
